Disclaimer :
Most of our products are made by genuine Native Americans. However, some are not made by Native Americans, nor do they have any historic value as artifacts of Native American people. They are reproductions of the Native Americans, Western and/or Southwestern peoples. They are not Indian products or Indian produced items as defined by 26 USA-305 et Seq or by the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 (18 U.S.C. 1159, 25 U.S.C. 305 et seq.) Authentic Native American made items will be noted as "Authentic" or "Certified Authentic" & will be accompanied with certification of the Indian artists name, tribal affiliation & enrollment number

Many of the products on my website have been designed and hand made by Native Americans. However, many of these artists, despite their birth and heritage, cannot legally call their work Native American made. The U.S. Government has created a law and system making it difficult for many true Native American artists to obtain the proper tribal registration and identification due to the lengthy and complicated process. While some Native American artists do indeed have the proper registration and census number, some of them do not. Therefore, you will see below a disclaimer which is required by law to post onto our siteensus And Quarante Policy

It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to be familiar with their local city, state, and national laws in regards to the shipment of items such as: Animal Claws, Feathers, Bones, Hand Made Artifacts, and other related products. Please, inquire with your local officials about such laws prior to making your purchase. I cannot be held responsible for any items that are taken by customs officials or quarantine agencies.

Southwest Indian Wedding Basket

Made from classic Southwest designs. Coiled baskets are made like coiled pottery. Thin strips of fibers, wood, leaves or grass are wrapped into a bundle which is coiled around in a continuous spiral. Colors created from natural vegetation were used to dye the fibers making this beautiful three color design possible. Baskets of this quality made by an actual Southwest Indian Basket weaver would sell for hundreds, even thousands of dollars.

Thankfully, we're able to provide the same style of basket at a mere fraction of the cost. Please notice slight variation in designs. Non Native Made.
