The Ghost dance is a variation of an ancient traditional Native American dance known as the Circle Dance or Round Dance. Like other Native American dances, it served many spiritual purposes as well as bringing the community together. The Ghost Dance is a circle dance that focussed on embracing the ways of the past and rejecting some of the negative influences of white people in a peaceful way. This included creating a connection to ancestors or the dead and trying to end the mourning of those that have more recently past. A Native American shaman named Wovoka, who was a member of the Paiute Tribe, started the Ghost dance as part of his movement to help Plains Indian Tribes to recover and heal from the many problems and changes they faced in the second half of the 1800's. It quickly spread throughout many Native American tribes.

Plus, they have buckskin leather fringe for the laces. Each moccasin has been intricately hand-stitched and each one features an incredible display of seed bead work. The seed beads offer a traditional Native American design in bright and vibrant colors. They have each been perfectly sewn by hand. Not a single drop of glue touched these moccasins. These Cheyenne Artifacts are a true one of a kind pair!

This Native American traditional dress Ghost Shirt is made by hand from soft Buckskin leather. This Ghost Shirt has been trimmed with hand braided buckskin leather that winds around the outline of this strong and durable Native American traditional clothing. It is also adorned with buckskin fringe which tumbles and shimmers when dancing. Tin cones secure hairpipe bone beads, animal teeth, and horse hair for natural textures and a distinct character. This Ghost Shirt is just like the kind worn by the Lakota-Sioux people for the Ghost Dance.

 This one is 23" wide from shoulder to shoulder and 34" in length at the longest point. It'll fit a Size 16 for Men and a Size 4 to 8 for a woman.
